Overview Of The Apprentice Challenge
Apprentice Challenge improves communication, inspires creativity and breaks down barriers. In our Apprentice Challenge teams will compete in a pitch to win business by completing challenges requiring a range of skills and will be hired and fired along the way by our BIG BOSS and his board members.
The Objectives

Encourage honest feedback from team members at the conclusion
The Brief
Each team represents a marketing and communications agency who have been asked to pitch for various projects. Products will vary from jewellery, clothing, gadgets, food and perhaps even a new creation put forward by the Apprentices. Teams must consider budget, target market, unique selling points, scripts and all sales and marketing elements.
The Challenges
Each team will complete a set number of challenges with different 'apprentices' leading the way. The number of challenges will depend on the time you have available for the activity. In a two hour session Apprentices will complete one challenge and in a three hour session Apprentices will complete two challenges. The challenges are:
Retail Promotions - Creating in store point of sale materials for a big brand
Photo Shoot - Using digital photography to create an advertisement for a sunglasses range
New Product - Creating a new product, keeping within budget and resource restrictions
Wine Label - Blending and creating a new brand of wine including label design etc
Recruitment Brochure - Producing copy and design for a new recruitment brochure for your company
The Result
At the end of the session each team will present their ideas, marketing strategy, strap lines, mission statements and support materials to the judges. This will be followed by a debrief from THE BIG BOSS and feedback from the teams. They must be prepared for some criticism as the judges start to sack teams. At the end there will be a winning team and perhaps an individual who really stood out from the crowd … THE APPRENTICE!
What Is Included
Site preparation and technical coordination with venue staff

Our Requirements
Minimum of 1 x 5ft round table per team
2 x 6ft rectangle tables for materials area
